hela Sverige The Electromobility department is part of the strategic center for powertrain development in the Volvo Group and performs state-of-the-art research and cutting edge engineering with the goal of maintaining our position as leaders in the global trend of electrification. Right now there is an opportunity to join the Electromobility team as a Simulation Engineer. The position offers the opportunity to work in the early concept evaluation stages of development, influencing the future of sustainable mobility solutions. There is a large degree of freedom in how to model the complexities of the systems considered and we are looking for someone with a creative mindset.
In addition, there're also collaborations with sales to evaluate current vehicles for new markets. As the work involves communication with many internal groups, a proven ability to network and work in teams is desirable.

Qualifications:
• High level of commitment and strong analytical mindset
• Knowledge from Matlab/Simulink is required
• Masters' degree in relevant area (electrical engineering, engineering physics etc.) or several years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of electrical powertrains is meritorious
