It's all about progress.Our site in Hässleholm is dealing with projects ranging from development to production management and delivery of complete vehicles, both for the Swedish market and for export, development and production of propulsion and control systems, service, maintenance and complete traffic systems. journeys, you'll help millions of people to go further, too.If you're ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Signalling Hardware Engineer for our location in Hässleholm, Sweden:REQUISITION NUMBER: TRCS-SEHM01927072Purpose of the role:- The Signalling Engineer Hardware Configuration will be part of an experienced and engaged team within Region North Engineering Nordics organization;- The Signalling Engineer Hardware Configuration will do detailed design of cabinets and assure that the product meets applicable customer specifications;- The role also includes support to manufacturing, installation, test and commissioning during construction of system.Your key responsibilities will include:- Decide about technical solutions to fulfill customer requirements and design rules;- Interaction with external suppliers of equipment;- Report the status of assigned work package to and/or the line organization;- Participate in meetings as required representing the specific area of knowledge (customer meetings, project meetings);- Participate in bids during limited period, representing the area of expertise;Why work for us?- Be part of a global company, innovating and collaborating across countries to bring the world closer together;- Change your personal world, with opportunities to shape your own development and experience new ways of working;- Take pride in helping people all over the world to get where they want to be - individuals, communities, businesses;- Broaden your horizons as part of a multinational team, working together with world-shaping technology.Qualifications- Education: Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering;- Experience in working with MS Office, SharePoint- 1 - 2 years of experience either in railway signaling, electrical or mechanical engineering;- Experience within a development and customer oriented project;- Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability in identifying and implementing flexible solutions to complex problems with high integrity and safety awareness;- Previous experience in working with Design tools (AutoCAD - mandatory, Elmaster - beneficial);- Experience of ERTMS or other safety-critical system is highly valued;- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;- Willingness to travel a couple of times per year;- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment- Fluent English and Swedish are mandatory.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.About usBombardier Transportation is a global mobility solution provider leading the way with the rail industry's broadest portfolio.
