Bombardier?s signalling system division, Rail Control Solutions (RCS), is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services. RCS ? Optimizing the Flow of Trains.
If you have experience from and are interested in working in a truly international organization, apply for our exciting Signalling Engineer ? Application Engineering role, in Hassleholm (Sweden).
Role
Your main focus will be to perform detailed software design with requirements on safety, availability and maintainability. Using the appropriate tools, you will configure the software of interlocking systems in railway projects across the Nordics region (especially Sweden and Norway).
Key responsibilities:
• System level design of a specific software application with requirements on safety.
• Decide about technical solutions related to application design/ SW Configuration.
• Perform reviews of the software configuration.
• Perform lab test of specific software application with simulated yard environment
• Deliver product in time, with required quality.
• Participate in meetings as required representing the specific area of expertise (customer meetings, project meetings, CCB-meetings etc).
• Support to installation, test and commissioning during construction of system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s or higher degree in engineering (electrical or software would be desirable), or, Higher Vocational School graduate (Signalling Technician).
• A real passion and genuine interest towards rail industry.
• If Higher Vocational School graduate, should have at least 1 year of relevant experience for the role (preferably Signalling Technician).
• Advanced Swedish and English language skills are mandatory.
• Self-driven, excellent communication skills and flexibility.
