We also sell our products through our very popular web shop. We strive for a high level of customer service and dedicated co-workers that enjoy coming to work.
We are now expanding and very happy that we are opening up a shop in Jönköping in the beginning of September!
Our ambition is that more people will discover our exiting range of products and enjoy , a Great Taste of Britain!
We are now looking for a skilled and dedicated Shop manager that can help us build our business and help us spread the news about our exiting products to the people of Jönköping.
Shop Manager(Butiksansvarig) , The role
The role as Shop manager is fun and varied and entails full responsibility for the shop?s sales and profitability, appearance and daily operations. Your task is to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers. For the right candidate, the role will offer both a challenge and a great opportunity to be a part of the development of the shop.
Job specification
Our customer base is wide and we have a distinctly British concept and profile. This is why we require knowledge about our products and fluency in English. The ability to speak Swedish is also a requirement. A big plus is an interest in baking as we have a large range of baking products and equipment.
Further, we would like to see that you have experience as a manager as well as a few years of experience working with sales in a retail environment.
To fit in the role we require that you have leadership experience and find it easy cooperating with others. The role as manager requires that you are a person who takes initiative, that you are energetic and get things done. You have a passion for service and act professionally at all times towards both customers and co-workers. You are outgoing and good at motivating and coaching others. You like working in a small team and have good communication skills. Further you have an eye for merchandising and a natural feel for show casing products in the shop.
A few examples of responsibilities are:
Ensure a well-managed and fully stocked shop at all times,
Distributing and supervising the daily work in the shop,
Placing orders,
Handling deliveries and the ingredients labeling of products,
Displaying and layout of the products in the shop,
Managing staff and scheduling,
Making sure the range of products in the shop corresponds with demand,
Keeping the shop clean and tidy,
Making sure company routines and policies are followed,
Ensuring that the shop reaches sales and profitability targets,
Cash management, change and banking takings etc.
The shop manager always needs to be on top of everything that concerns the shop, which means knowing what's missing and what needs to be done. You take care of the team in the shop while the head office provides you with routines, guidance and expertise.
