We are looking for a Lead Architect to provide technology leadership in all aspects of our business.
In this role as lead architect based in Gothenburg you will be responsible for technology and architecture within Shared Telecom Services (STS) Program. The program is delivering and operating 5G telecom environments to organisations across whole Ericsson for various purposes such as E2E testing, learning, demo and event. You will collaborate with a community of architects to ensure we use most suitable technologies, tools and keep up with upcoming trends within the IT, network, cloud and telecom areas.
You will be part of a network of leaders in similar roles to collaborate across programs and organisations.
What you will do
This successful technology leader should have strategic thinking combined with excellent communication and presentation skills.
The role demands considerable flexibility in quickly adapting to shifting needs, and is expected to effectively cover a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to
Drive strategic technology leadership primarily in IT, network and cloud
Drive & Participate in technical studies
Define and communicate technology strategies
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Align the technology landscape with other organizations and company directives
Create overall technology standards, practices and ensure adherence
Run a technology & architecture community with other architects in the program
Represent the STS program in technology and architecture boards
Be a change driver
You will bring
5+ years of relevant professional work experience as solution architect or similar roles
In-depth knowledge of IT systems architecture
Strong IP network competence
Experience from working with telecom networks or products
Experience working with test or development environments
Superior influencing, presentation and communication skills
Highly motivated with Problem-solving mindset
Strong interest in security
Understanding on how a global organization works and interact between different function/units
