Your Role and Responsibilities
The Systems Services Representative (SSR) is primarily responsible for performance of post sale maintenance of IBM and other vendor hardware and software at customer locations.
This role will spend a majority of the time working with high volume products related issues using problem analysis and problem solving skills for the identification and resolution of situations in the customer environment. The SSR may assist in the resolution of software and operational situations, as well as perform services activities including systems assurance, installation planning, account management, systems-level problem determination, discontinuance and relocation of IBM and non-IBM systems and products.
Introduction
System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client.
Sound pretty important? Absolutely! You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
We are looking for individuals who are flexible, driven and able to see the customer's need for additional maintenance and services.
Experience of working with maintenance and service of high volume products is desirable
You will also have a general interest in technical solutions
One to two years experience in HW maintenance on High Volume Products as IBM/DELL/HP or Lenovo is desirable.
