Services Business Manager within Region International, Market Units Aftermarket Business
The Market Units Aftermarket Business department in Region International has the overall responsibility for aftermarket sales and technical customer support and coordination for our eight market units within the region. The market units are; Russia, Turkey, Southern Africa, India, China, Japan, South East Asia and Oceania.
We are now recruiting a Services Business Manager to our team. As part of the team the position holder will work closely with the market units' aftermarket sales and business development managers - with a joint strategic aim to realize profitable growth and customer satisfaction targets. The Services Business Manager will be responsible to lead and/or participate in the annual business planning and follow up cycle as well as drive business development actions and projects, including change management - always in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues and decision makers across the Volvo Penta organization.
The main areas of responsibility will be to:
Identify and seek growth areas and drive new business opportunities together with Market Units
Drive, coordinate, follow up with market units and internal regional functions on
sales volume targets, discounts, price positioning and profitability
logistics matters and development
selected dealer development KPIs and operating standards
network coverage and product population mapping strategy and execution
Change management, and to some extent conduct trainings, towards market units for new processes and systems
Prepare and present information and/or decision material in relevant forums
Lead and/or participate in strategic/business development projects of various kind as applicable
The Market Units Aftermarket Business department, including the Services Business Manager role, is a new function within Region International and there will be great opportunities to participate in developing the function and services sales business. You will be able to grow a global network and you will work in a dynamic team where we collaborate, support and challenge each other.
The position is located in Gothenburg and requires frequent travels.

Aftermarket and/or B2B experience and a strong business acumen
University degree, or equivalent, in business or engineering
Individual drive to develop/ Networker/Good at coordination
Excellent communication skills/Fluent in English/Good presenter

Integrity/Enjoy working in an international multi-cultural environment
Ability to travel
