Do you want to work with Gothenburg's newest tram M33 in the depot Slottsskogen?
We are looking for a driven service technician for a full-time position with employment at Alstom. Do you want to develop, appreciate and like to solve technical challenges? Do you like when the working day runs like the train? Then it could be you we are looking for!
What does the role entail?
Alstom is a well-known company in the transport industry and the tasks mainly consist of performing warranty measures on M33 trams at the depot Slottsskogen in southern Gothenburg. The tasks are varied and include warranty repairs, troubleshooting, modifications and commissioning of M33 trams. Shifts occur and you will work with competent and committed colleagues who will help you get into the work and the team in the best way. There are works in the customer's other
depots (depot Rantorget & depot Majorna).
Among other things, you will:
Carry out troubleshooting and warranty repairs of M33 trams.
Carry out testing and commissioning of vehicles according to instructions.
Manage technical investigations.
Handle reporting of field data and other administration of forms, etc.
Support validation of maintenance documentation.
Be up to date regarding changes in maintenance documentation.
Perform modifications according to instruction and drawing documents in English.
In English, register performed warranty work and root cause analyzes in our digital maintenance system Maximo
Who are you?
As a service technician, it is of great importance that you are driven and have a solid technical interest and ability to solve complex problems. We are looking for you who have experience of technical work from the automation industry, aviation, train or similar where repair and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and digital control systems belong to your everyday life.
You need to have relevant education such as technical high school, university education is meritorious. Previous experience of working in the train industry is meritorious.
To succeed in the role, you need to have good computer skills and a good user of the Office package. You read and speak both English and Swedish unhindered. B driving license is a requirement.
As the tasks are of importance for road safety, an approved medical health examination is required before any employment can begin, this is provided by Alstom
