Radiology & Interventional (R&I) is a new organization within Bayer Healthcare Medical Care. The Diagnostic Imaging business of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals is a world leader in developing and manufacturing contrast media for use in X-ray, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
MEDRAD is a market leading manufacturer and distributor of high tech medical devices that enable or enhance diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures for computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and cardiovascular applications.
Separately these businesses are solid contributors to the Bayer HealthCare portfolio but the markets are changing and there are obvious areas in which the existing and future product portfolios and customer bases of these groups overlap. There is a clear opportunity to drive future growth by providing superior innovation in the Radiology field where both companies have a leading position today.
The R&I Nordic&Baltic organization will generate ¬ 20.7 million in revenue the first year in 2012.
Job description
The primary area of responsibility is to:
• On the field perform preventive maintenance, repairs and installation of MEDRAD contrast injectors and other equipment that we have delivered.
• Sell and market different types of service agreements to end-user or other partners.
• Give telephone support with technical problems, give product information and installation help/tips.
Suitable place of living is somewhere in Stockholm - Mälardalen.
Qualifications
We see a colleague which is/has:
• Competence in Electronics (technical gymnasiekompetens or abachelor's degree in Electronics / Medical Technology).
• Preferably some years of experience of "field service". Experience from healthcare is a major advantage.
• An organized and structured mind.
• Fluent speaking capability in Swedish.
• Good knowledge in English (speaking and writing).
• Possible to travel - up to 50% overnight stay.
• Good knowledge of Office program.
• Good knowledge in analog- / digital- electronics.
• Good knowledge with regards to electric safety, is added merit.
