Job profile – Service Technician Ultra fog
As a Service Technician you have to be service minded and flexible, always with the customer in focus. Your work will be varied as Ultra Fog systems are installed in buildings, industry, cruise ships and yachts. A service technician is responsible for performing annual maintenance on Ultra Fog systems, and will also execute the initial start up of the system once delivered. Often you will be troubleshooting, and many of our customers require education as to how to operate and maintain the system. You are the public face of our company, and will be proactive in arranging service duties (phoning the customer before you visit, arranging delivery of spare parts, reporting back to the aftersales office on completion of each job).
Who are you?
We think you have a background in mechanics/electronics, preferably with an education in one of the two (or both) areas. You have at least a few years experience of working as a Service Technician. If you have experience of working with fire detection systems/sprinkler systems that is an advantage.
You have the ability to be away from home on a flexible schedule since some service work take place off shore on large vessels abroad. This position is very much an "on-the-road" function so you have to be comfortable with travelling and being on your own.
You are a driven problem solver who is multitasking and can work independently, taking own initiatives. You have to be organised and pro-active since you are in charge of bringing tools and spare parts yourself to the customer sites. You speak one or several Scandinavian languages and English fluently.
