Organizational belonging
You will be a part of two teams at SSE - the Info Center within Education Office, and the Operations Team within House of Innovation (HOI). You will report to the Team Leader at Info Center. You will also be expected to work closely with the Executive Director at HOI and other internal and external stakeholders. This collaborative approach ensures that your work is supported by a strong network of professionals who are committed to excellence and achievement.



About the Info Center and Operations Team
The Info Center serves as the face of SSE and provides world-class service to our students and visitors. Furthermore, the Info Center is the first point of contact for student related inquiries and general information about the School. The Operations Team currently consists of nine co-workers managing a broad area of responsibilities, for instance research grants and partnerships, outreach and events, research communication, course administration and fundraising.



Responsibilities
Your work duties will be broad and varied. You will be highly involved in and expected to initiate and drive business process improvements. Your primary customers will be the SSE students and visitors and you will provide them with study administrative support and services.

SSE also recently acquired a 4,500 square meter building at Norrtullsgatan 2, and you will play a crucial role in creating an innovative and engaging community for faculty, staff, and visitors. For example, SSE's subsidiary company and incubator, SSE Business Lab, will be housed in this building.

Your areas of expertise will include, but will not be limited to:

- Information management: address, handle and administer questions and guide customers efficiently through our various channels. Welcome, provide information and practical help to our customers.
- Quality management: continuously updating the SSE Info Center Service Catalogue in a dialogue with our different units and stakeholders.
- Task management: being the first point of contact to our customers, referring students to contacts in the organization and issuing certificates.
- Project management: connected to improving the social and physical working environment and finding innovative technical solutions at Norrtullsgatan 2.
- Ad hoc tasks: related to customer service and project management.
- Event support: assist with and engage in community events and initiatives.



Profile
You are a professional service provider with a strong customer focus who can and are passionate about providing customers with excellent service and meet people's needs. You are collaborative and work well with all people, both internally and externally. You are a structured problem-solver who are autonomous and can prioritize efficiently among incoming inquiries. Furthermore, you have great communication skills which means that you can adapt your way of communicating depending on situation and person, ask relevant questions, express yourself clearly, short and concise, and consult with colleagues when needed. You enjoy working in a high-paced environment and are composed, balanced and controlled in stressful situations.

Requirements:
- Gymnasium degree (or equivalent).
- Experience in customer service and first-line support.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications, including Office 365.
- Interest in digital ways of working and utilizing technology to enhance customer service.
- Strong project management and community engagement skills.

Meritorious:
- Experience from a similar environment or a hotel reception is advantageous.
- Familiarity with task management systems.
- Experience from higher education, either study or work related, and preferably knowledge of the student journey.
- A good command of Swedish.



Other
This is a full-time, time-limited position for approximately 9 months. There may be a possibility to extend the contract. Salaries are commensurate with qualifications and experience and are set on an individual basis.
