Johnson Controls Marine in Norrköping is part of Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI). Johnson Controls Marine Sweden supplies cooling & refrigeration systems for cruise ships and refrigerated cargo ships as well as for offshore platforms and vessels, and related after sales services and products. The market for service and retrofit of our clients' Marine Chiller and Refrigeration installations is in steady growth, and
we need to strengthen our team to meet these growing demands. An important part of our work is to develop new
ideas and apply existing technology to new applications - thereby continuously identifying and creating new business
opportunities. Know-how and know-why are important elements when meeting our service clients' needs and
expectations.

We offer a fun and challenging job where you will have world-wide business contacts, with daily opportunities to use
your creativity in solving customer problems. As a Service Sales Engineer, your daily tasks consist of

• receiving inquiries from our internal and external customers; taking ownership of these opportunities and, as
needed, contacting clients for clarification of their needs.
• creating sales bids and estimates - with technical support from our highly skilled Service execution team and R&D
department - for the complete and wide range of products, services and solutions offered by Marine Services,
Sweden
• participating in technical and commercial discussions and negotiations with customers; by phone/video
conferencing or in face-to-face meetings.
• owning the hand-over process from Service Sales to Service Execution; for all sold service jobs, widely ranging from
simple on-demand interventions up to large retrofit projects; driving and securing all such hand-overs in each case,
involving not only Service Execution team but also the Service coordinator and Field engineers
• own execution & project management of simple (limited scope) jobs
• follow-up of all sold jobs towards our customers
• financial follow-up of all sold jobs
• support to Service Sales Manager and Branch Manager, in monthly reporting, forecasting and planning, as well as
Global Marine sales co-ordination activities.
• active participation in business development and identification of new business opportunities
• support to Service Sales Manager in our continuous internal process improvement work

The main responsibility of the position will be in supporting our global sales activities, with a special focus on creating
technically and commercially workable solutions towards Marine Services sales representatives in Miami, Singapore,
Dubai and other Global Marine Services offices, as well as in our Sweden home office. With time & experience, you will
get in charge of your own external customer accounts.

Our ideal candidate is a business oriented and service-minded individual, with a solid technical education in Mechanical,
Automation and/or Electrical Engineering in the background. A true interest in engineering and technology is
fundamental to develop a good, common-sense understanding of our solutions & services. As IoT and remote sensor
data management are quickly becoming an important part of our service business development, a good handle on IT
and PCs is important.

Previous experience from industrial B2B sales is a merit, but not a must - the important part is a true drive to help us
sustain and grow our business, by meeting and exceeding customers' needs and expectations in a timely manner.
Position Requirements:
• M.Sc or B.Sc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Automation, Electrical or similar)
• Industrial work experience
• Business acumen & strategic thinking
• Entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Core characteristics: Energetic - Enterprising - Friendly - Service-minded - Loyal
