Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions are currently looking for a perceptive Service Owner to an interesting position. With us, you'll be an active member in our Sales & Marketing IT Delivery team - a dynamic place where we get to engage with a wide group of stakeholders and sharing best practices with great co-workers, topical systems and an active customer segment!
What about the job?
In this position, you're responsible for overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire lifecycle of investments in infrastructure and systems related to an IT service. You engage with the business to negotiate service scope, requirements and objectives in new and existing services. Talking to internal and external suppliers to establish delivery capability and contracts is part of your mission, and you follow up and report in service quality, performance, achievements and financial metrics. You act as a change agent to implement and manage quality improvement and ensure application governance models and processes are in place and adhered to. You're also a key part in our service cost allocation and forecasting of future financials.
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden, Stockholm, Sweden, or Tampere, Finland and you report to the IT Operations Manager for Sales and Marketing within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions IT. Some travel may occur.
Who are you?
We're looking for a self-directed, organized and proactive team player. You could be early on your path within service ownership or a seasoned professional - for us, it's your attitude and personal qualities that really matters. We believe that you need experience in budgeting and financial reporting, ITIL processes, vendor and contract management as well as service KPI management.
You're eager to learn new things as well as to mentor others in your domain of excellence. With good communication skills you have no problem to interact with stakeholders from different places and being a passionate networker and using your excellent collaboration skills you easily interact and build valuable relationships all over our organization. Ideally, you come from a previous role working in a global context with many stakeholders both in IT and business. Being part of a truly global environment calls for excellent skills in English.
