Within Development & Engineering, the mission of the Project Management Office (PMO) is to "foster professionalism and best practice to achieve excellence in program and project management". Ensuring our projects deliver the right products to market, in half the time and with double the quality is now strategically more important than ever. PMO plays an increasingly significant role in defining how we do this. PMO mandate spans the whole of D&E (Modena and Lund), but working with new Product Creation processes challenges us to become proficient in working effectively across functions and organisations, including Supply Chain Operations, Technical Services, Marketing and Product Management.
PMO delivers services to the D&E Organisation (Platforms, Packaging Technology, Packaging Material), and drives projects to develop/improve project management professionalism, competence, best practices and tools. Within this group, we are looking for a Service Manager. In this position based in Lund, you will support project managers/leaders/teams within all Platforms (projects and lines), in order to deliver the best product quality on time and within project budget.
Project Management Office Service Managers support the D&E organisation and projects executed according to Product Creation processes with the following:
• Work with Project Management Directors & the Project Management community to understand the needs of the organisation and ensure PMO support is aligned.
• Project Management procedure and tool development, implementation and continuous improvement
• Project Management best practice deployment through training, coaching, hands-on project support and facilitation
• Project Health Checks, helping identify improvement areas within projects and supporting corrective action planning
• Project Manage deliverables or activities to develop new capabilities, procedures, tools or techniques relating to Project, -Program or Portfolio Management or in support of Business Transformation projects or initiatives
Publiceringsdatum2011-02-26KvalifikationerThe ideal candidate has a Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent degrees. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required. A combination of experience from managing/supporting projects and implementing project management practices is required. At least 3 years experience in Project Management within a product and/or technology development environment is required. PMI certification is valued as a plus.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and networking skills and is used to working in a coaching role with an open-minded and service oriented approach. A good balance of supportiveness and assertiveness is also required, together. Consolidated stakeholder management is valued as a plus.
