The quality level and performance need to be world class. As a Service Engineer in the Customer Support team, you will support existing system installs and our new commissioning projects to make sure our machines are up and running at all times. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills and be an integral member of our team at the very core of Climeon's business.
Being a Service Engineer at Climeon is a versatile job where you will gain widespread knowledge on the technology surrounding our Heat Power modules. You will work with electronics, mechanics and PLC control system. A part of your job will be carried out at Climeon headquarters in Kista, but most of the work is carried out abroad so you will get to travel the world, working on-site at Geothermal, Industrial and Maritime based power sites. The role also includes:
• Supporting installations & existing systems in-field
• Advanced problem solving
• Deploying systems in production environment
• Participating in new system delivery projects
• Support services internationally
• Supporting R&D with integration, verification and test
Who are you?
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the combination of hands-on work and travelling.
We seek someone with a technical degree (high school, polytechnic or University), preferably within power electronics/electronics, automation, maritime, or similar. But the most important thing is that you have hands-on experience from servicing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
Since our modules are spread across the globe, this role includes a lot of travelling, both planned and with short notice. Therefore, you must be able to travel for both short- and long-term assignments year-round, up to 160 days per year.
We prefer if you have a Swedish electrical installation authorization (A or B or equivalent) and additional language skills besides English (Swedish & Japanese), although this is not a requirement for the position.
A Service Engineer at Climeon is someone who enjoys working in a team while being able to work independently and make their own decisions. Personality wise, we seek someone with good communication skills, a personal drive, ability to refocus and a solution-oriented mindset.
