hela Sverige In your role as a Service Engineer at Components' Customer Support department, you will mainly be working as project manager for customer projects. You will have a varied everyday life where you work cross-functional, both with internal and external customers. Our customers, sister factories and service partners are located all over the world, making travel a natural part of your job.
You will run major improvement projects to give our customers the support they require and deserve. You will be Component's face outwards on these projects and draw on the units combined expertise to support the customer.
In addition to an interesting assignment, this position offers very good development opportunities. You will work with all departments at Components and get a understanding of how different departments operate at the same time as you will get insight into an industry in change.
To be suitable for this role, you have a technical university degree or equivalent work experience and are a natural leader with a high level of service and customer orientation. Your previous experience in the industry has provided you with good knowledge of bushings, tap changers (qualifying) and components for transformers.
Because the role involves extensive contact with different parties, both externally and internally, it requires that you are socially oriented self-starter who is at all times striving to meet customers' needs.
As a person you are a team player who is curious, have very good social skills and can always see both sides of the coin. In addition, you are good at planning, driving, organizing and taking responsibility for your own work.
In summary, you have/are:
• Master of Science degree or equivalent work experience
• Used to working in an international environment
• Experience in manufacturing industry and project management
• Experience of quality management in production environment
• Knowledge of ABB's 4Q model or equivalent method for root cause analysis (PDCA; 8D)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, written and spoken alike
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
You will be part of Transformers which is a business unit within the Power Grids division with approximately 1500 employees. Transformers primarily manufactures power transformers, reactors and transformer components. The unit also supplies electrical insulation materials, fiber composite materials, machined and welded components.
Power Grids division is the world's leading supplier of power and automation products, as well as systems and service solutions for the entire value chain from power generation to transmission and distribution.
