The Marine part of Emerson Process Management is the market leader within the marine business. Our expertise covers integrated tank management systems, valve remote control, cargo tank gauging, ballast, service tank monitoring as well as draft measurement for all types of ships and offshore units. Our customers are located all over the world and have expectations on high-quality service and support.
We are now looking for a successor as one of our colleagues has moved on to new challenges. As a marine Service Engineer you will work with our radar based Cargo Monitoring Systems, our Tank Level Gauging Systems, our Valve Remote Control Systems as well with our automation systems. You will be based in Sweden and your tasks will involve everything from start-up to service and support. You will also provide education for both end-users and our authorized service agents' engineers. As most of our customers are located abroad, you will travel up to 100 days per year. It is therefore important that you like to travel as well as meeting new people and cultures. The job demands high level of independence and self-confidence, as well as confidence in the company and our products in general. During office hours between traveling, you will work with technical support as well as education towards our agents.
If you are an action oriented, problem solving and a service minded person, we can offer you a stimulating work in an international environment. You are an engineer with a B.Sc degree or equivalent technical experience, preferably within electronics and data. 1-2 years documented experience from work within a technical field is required as well as good computer network knowledge. You are a skilled communicator with great ability to create trusting relationships with internal and external customers. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other language skills are considered as beneficial. You have a driver's license class B.
