We now have the opportunity for you to be a service engineer for consistency measurements in the Scandinavian team.
A service engineer at Valmet works with products that has the reputation of being the market leader, and having the most advanced product portfolio for pulp and paper automation.
Valmet analyzers and measurements for pulp and paper are often online measurements of fiber and furnish properties while some analyzers are used in the mill laboratory. In this job you are one of our customers' important contacts, and you will handle service cases from the very beginning until the case is closed with a satisfied customer. During all phases of the case you are supported by technical experts in the local team as well as the product group in Kajaani, Finland.
We are looking for a communicative person willing to cooperate within the Scandinavian team and focus on our consistency measurements. In this job you are also taking care of a small workshop for maintenance of consistency measurements.
Position
Service Engineer, analyzers and measurements
Customer satisfaction and relations
Organize, execute, and report your own service visits
Start-up and calibrate new devices
Maintenance and repairs in the workshop or on-site
Remote support from the office
Collaborative work with sales in Scandinavia and the Product Line in Kajaani, Finland
The position is based in Karlstad, Sweden

Qualifications
Relevant engineering degree
Experience from consistency measurement is an advantage
Part of the career in Pulp & Paper industry (process skills)
Self-starter, open for collaboration with colleagues and customers
Ability to act and make decisions
Organized, with an ability to prioritize whilst multi-tasking
Fluent in English and Swedish
Driving license class B and willingness to travel within Scandinavia
