Safegate Group are searching for a Service Engineer located in Germany
Duties:
A service engineer is required for our office in Elmshorn/Hamburg reporting to the Projects and Service manager. As Safegate works in all corners of the world, the position will require considerable travel. You should be comfortable with the idea of working with many different cultures in diverse locations and with German and English as the working language.
Commission airfield equipment around the globe
Train customers in correct use of the equipment
Test equipment prior to dispatch
Assist with final assembly of equipment when required
Support customers remotely
Participate in on-call service roster
Assist in tender preparation on occasion
Qualifications:
You are a Graduate Engineer or have similar technical qualification (Electrical/Electronic an advantage). We expect you to have 2-3 years work experience from a similar position.
It's most important that you are fluent written and spoken in both German and English, other languages are an advantage
Computer literate
Profile and Characteristics:
You are outgoing, a good communicator who are able to establish a good working relationship in a short period. You will need to be positive, confident and a self motivated individual who enjoy a challenge and are happy to work with minimal direction. You will need to be able to apply good problem solving skills and work under pressure to meet customer deadlines. The position will involve working primarily with electronic and SW related tasks.
