We are looking for a service engineer with technical skills to join our team of Changemakers. Does that sound like you?
About the job
In this very exciting role, you will make use of your highly technical skills, travel worldwide to support, and maintain our assets and be involved in new installation projects enabling on-site expansion of Expancel microspheres.
In your future role as Service Engineer, you will
be responsible for planning and executing the asset maintenance at customers globally. You will ensure proper documentation and report progress and deviations to relevant stakeholders. Participating in workshop activities and performing trials in our tech lab will be part of your daily work.
Other main responsibilities are:
technical support to customers and our internal organization regarding HSE related questions, technical solutions, and troubleshooting, via e-mail, telephone and customer visits.
supporting digital platforms and tools enabling remote support to customers and technicians globally.
In this position you will be traveling globally on a regularly basis, approximately up to 30% of your time.
We believe you bring
degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience
hands-on electrical and mechanical knowledge
fluent skills in English (written and spoken)
Great if you have
experience from traveling and servicing machine equipment.
previous experience from process industry
experience from process automation
language skills (Spanish, German etc.)
We believe you are
a person with a great analytical mindset where you can solve problems in a safe and efficient way when time is limited. You have good communication skills and are used to talking to stakeholders at different levels and with high diversity. You are flexible and at the same time very organized, plan your work well and completes what has been started and meet deadlines.
