As a Service Coordinator/Dispatcher at METTLER TOLEDO, you will play a key role in the Nordic Service Organization. Your main responsibilities include scheduling technicians for urgent service visits, preventive maintenance, and product installations at our customers' sites in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
You will manage work orders in Salesforce and ensure efficient and optimized planning. A work order can e.g. involve a critical production stoppage, and your task is to quickly locate an available technician within optimal travel distance and with the right skills for the job. There will be periods of increased workload where it is important that you maintain a calm, methodical approach and deliver a high level of customer service, while also being able to prioritize and take daily initiative based on the criticality of the jobs at hand. Daily communication with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders - primarily by phone, also via email - is a natural and given part of the role.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment but also able to work independently with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You are detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, and able to follow routines and guidelines in a dynamic environment. You will be part of the Scheduling & Dispatch team, consisting of approximately 10 people. You will also be part of the Service Back Office, a larger team of 22 employees including Call Entry (the customers' first point of contact) and administrative functions such as invoicing and contract management. You will report to the Nordic Scheduling & Dispatch Team Lead.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you are solution-oriented, flexible, communicative, and systematic. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. You are not afraid to pick up the phone and provide first-class service. We are looking for someone who embraces change and is not afraid to challenge the status quo as we aim to achieve long-term improvements and make our workflows more efficient. Therefore, experience and understanding of LEAN methodology, as well as a passion for process improvement and development, is highly valued.
Qualifications:
• Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Upper secondary education (gymnasieexamen)
• Previous experience in dispatching/scheduling
• Knowledge/experience of LEAN methodology
Merits:
• Ability to speak Norwegian
• Experience working with Salesforce
