• Give customer advice on how to use the Edgeware system, provide troubleshooting support and perform corrective activities when required
• Close cooperation with R&D and Solution Architects to find solutions to and solve customer issues
• Implementation work and training at customer's and partner's premises
• Actively contribute to our Customer satisfaction!
We are looking for a skilled engineer that enjoy customer interaction and that is challenged by trouble shooting in a complex environment. Experience from the TV / Media business is a requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• At least 5 years relevant work experience
• Good written and spoken English
• Good analytic ability and problem solving capabilities
• Outgoing personality with a customer focus and right attitude to serve the customer
• A thorough understanding of the following technologies:
• Linux operating systems
• IP network design and operation
• Necessary qualifications:
• Streaming technologies, such as RTSP, HTTP, RTMP
• Scripting languages, such as Python
• Web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, Javascript, Silverlight, Flash
• Database technologies, such as MySQL
• Able to manipulate network traces such ask Wireshark and/or TCP dump.
Edgeware is growing fast and need to further expand our support organization with a new Service Desk Engineer, located in Stockholm, to serve new and existing customers across the globe.
