IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The Group Linux, Web & DB Platform Development for Infrastructure Delivery (IUAL) owns and maintains the services and platforms used by delivery teams throughout the organisation in provisioning of solutions to the Scania business functions. These services provide application teams with the infrastructural components to develop and install applications for business use. The components part of the groups responsibility include Linux operating system, Oracle and opensource databases and web application platforms.
We now need to strengthen the team with a Service Delivery Manager. We are looking for a person with great interest in technique, service development and agile working methods. You will work with our customers, IT architects and technical experts to secure development, management and control of our current and future services.
Your tasks
As Service Delivery Manager you will work together with our Service owner and technicians to support build and development of our services. This includes responsibility for:
• Serving as Scrum Master and coach the team in scrum practices
• Planning, coordination and leading activities
• Interactions with other IT teams
• Work with 3rd party Managed Services providers
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education or equivalent work experience. We see that it's an advantage if you have good experience of delivering IT services and a background within IT Infrastructure. It's also preferably if you have the following competences/experiences:
• A genuine interest in and experience of agile working methods
• The ability to lead others
• Happy working in a team, but also capable of working independently when required
• Good communicative skills, service-minded and appreciate helping other people
• Take initiative and ownership
