Corporate Process & IT governs the overall Process and IT efficiency within the Group. The function drives the usage of common processes, common IT systems and IT infrastructures.

Infrastructure & Onsite Services

Infrastructure & Onsite Services is the unit in charge of all Volvo Group IT infrastructure and onsite services. As majority of these services are delivered by a partner, the mission will focus on governing and controlling this partner, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo.
Our mission is to develop and govern the Infrastructure Services of Volvo Group while ensuring their delivery and usage, with the ambition to contribute to Volvo Group competitiveness by delivering standardized and fit for purpose infrastructure services, maintaining a balance between time to market, cost and quality.

We are now looking for a Service Delivery Leader for the AOM Office.
In this role you will report to the Director Application Operations & Runtime Services (AORT).

Role mission & context

The mission of this new role is to be a subject matter expert and to support Volvo Solution Delivery Units on how to enable and work with AOM (Application Operation Management) and related services in the infrastructure and application stack. The AOM service is delivered by HCL, but Volvo today also manages parts of the delivery.

Key responsibilities:
Define, drive and engage in enabling correct ways of working with AOM service in Volvo
Establish and run the so called AOM Office aiming to support Volvo teams working with the AOM service
Be a subject matter expert for the AOM (Application Operation Management towards Volvo, suppliers and other stakeholders
Develop and improve the Service together with the Service Area leader and Service Delivery Leaders
Define and enforce rules and ways of working between supporting services used in Application Operation of Business Applications
Coach, guide and support in how to establish, operate and manage AOM delivery to supporting roles such as Delivery Managers
Work closely with Service Delivery Leaders for follow up quality of delivery.
Run trainings, create clear instructions/videos and communicate around the service to ensure the correct awareness of AOM service
Maintain documentation used in runtime and for onetime such as Procedure manuals and runbooks in our ITSM tools to ensure processes, procedures are followed and maintained
Create, maintain and enhance processes, routines and documentation where needed to improve ways of working
Service delivery governance and service improvements
Work closely with IOS SM SAL, SDLs to capture improvement needs
Define ways of measuring quality of delivery
Drive continuous improvement of the services
Contractual and commercial management of services
Ensure correct ways of working in conjunction with agreements set between Volvo and suppliers
Participate together with Service Area Leaders in negotiations with supplier about new/modified services and related terms and conditions including pricing, penalty schemes and service quality indicators
Support with cost follow up activities

Required competencies and experience:
University/Master's Degree or equivalent in relevant area
Service oriented and business mindset
Team player
Experience and technical knowledge of the services in the service areas
Strong ITIL processes experience
Complete proficiency in English
Good communication & presentation skills
