hela Sverige Our EMEA Area comprises Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Africa. It is divided into following five regions: Finland, Scandinavia, Russia, CEN and SEMEA. EMEA Area organization employs currently over 1700 employees.
To support our Energy Sales and Services Operations we are now looking for a Service Controller to develop EMEA Area's finance and project control. Role is an almost 2-year temporary employment.
Financial responsibility of your business area including management and especially project accounting, reporting, budgeting, estimation and their development are important part of your responsibilities. You will provide strong business support for projects locally in Gothenburg and support development of high quality financial analysis. You will lead discussion around project performance and help business managers to understand the critical influencing factors behind the financial performance. Producing and developing financial reporting tools, formats and KPI follow-up in the Area with other finance counterparties are vital. Driving and supporting continuous quality improvements and cost management covering especially project function are your responsibilities. Active role is required in integrating finance closer to project management. You will also participate actively in Valmet ERP implementation; LEAP Forward program.

To be successful in this position we expect you to be business oriented and be willing to learn and understand basic nature of the energy service business and organization. You are logical and have strong analytical skills. You have at least 5 years of working experience within the area of finance and business controlling in project environment. You are strong developer and negotiator, enjoy influencing others and you are also an excellent team player. Mastering Root Cause Analyses as a method of problem solving is a strong benefit.
Experience in an international business environment and matrix organization is important, and earlier experience of controlling projects is an advantage. You keep up with tight schedules and manage pressure well. You are independent, proactive and development oriented. Because we work in a global company you should be a fluent communicator (written and verbal) not only in Swedish but also in English. Technical knowledge and skills for using finance related IT applications and MS Office is required. You should have Master's or Bachelor's degree from a relevant field of studies; finance and accounting or industrial engineering and management studies.
