The Service Center Leader for Cytiva is responsible for remanufacturing/rebuilding parts and instruments, calibrating Field Service tools, the repair, rebuilding, and/or remanufacturing of customer systems. The Umea-based Service Center operation drives significant cost-savings to the Equipment Services organization.
This position is part of the Global Service Delivery team. As an on-site Umea-based role, the people-leader will oversee a team of associates and drive daily operations. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive process improvement centered around the remanufacturing and rebuilding of service parts, calibration of service tools, and remanufacturing of systems
Drive operational process rigor focused on rebuilding, remanufacturing, and repair of service parts and customer instruments for internal cost savings
Lead a team of site-based technicians. Oversee daily work operations. Develop talent.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Ensure the teams production plan is followed to meet the customer's needs and requirements for cost, quality, and delivery time
Coach teams and employees through continuous feedback and performance appraisals
Lead department meetings, conduct performance appraisals and salary setting
Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and secure resources as well as being responsible for the area's budget, productivity, delivery, and quality
Coach, lead, and drive process through rigorous use of DBS tools

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in Sweden and English languages
Role model and accustomed to managing continuous change
Fact-based and strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, honest and open - Show respect for others, have a professional approach and ability to create trust

Who are you?
Education in production, logistics, leadership, technology (or equivalent) to University level
Leadership experience in manufacturing (or equivalent)
