In this assignment you will work as part of the Mining and Rock Excavation Service Division (MRS) Service Agreement team and with the customer centers to improve the performance of service agreements through the application of your maintenance planning skills where machine performance has to be improved.
You will together with the local team support cost effective planning methodology to ensure long term availability and reliability of onsite machines. Additionally these methodologies will be conveyed by yourself to the local team through effective on the job training.
Timely follow up with accurate recording protocols that will enable maximizing component life built on industry best practices. The indicators will amongst others be Operational KPI performance, financial result & Customer satisfaction.
The position will require travelling and staying at work sites on assignment for up to several months. You will audit operations and work with close reporting towards customers, customer centers and Mining and Rock Excavation Service Division, including clear actions and improvements achieved. You will demonstrate an approach that always is ensuring that solid safety and environmental practices are priority one.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will have
• Min 5 years maintenance planning experience for fleet size of 25+ pieces of mobile mining equipment.
• Demonstrable experience with planning packages.
• Exposure & solid understanding of large full service (MARC) contracts.
• Understanding of equipment costs and their influence on wider operating costs.
• Demonstrable ability to effectively train others.
• Very good, administrative, organizational and planning abilities.
• Effective communication. Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Computer literacy and good report writing skills.
In addition, the candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to OH&S, Quality and Environment policies and procedures. You will also have a strong desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customers business.
