The Mining and Rock Excavation Service in customer centers around the world are currently running more than 700 service agreements of various complexities; the scope is from visit based agreements to large on site full service agreements.
One of the current objectives for MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION is to secure the best system support and practices for service and service agreements for optimum ability to monitor and control/steer the contract performance for best possible customer satisfaction. The objective is also to increase the contract sustainability to become the market leader in taking care of mining and rock excavation equipment maintenance.
MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION and the Service Agreement team will to support the plans for service agreements in Act (Global project in Atlas Copco to implement SAP in Customer Centers) open the new position for a Service Agreement Business Process Expert (BPX) in the MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION division.
The Business Process expert will be part of the Act project and work close with the Service Agreement Team and the Customer Centers around the world. The position also involves being one of the drivers to promote MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION Service Agreement best practice and to support implementations of the enhanced reporting suite SAP Scimitar.
As a Business Process Expert for Service Agreements, you are expected to
• have a deep understanding and broad overview of the business process
• have a good understanding of how the business process is supported by business application(s): as-is and to-be
• have hands-on experience, typically from prior operational responsibilities, on how the process is executed throughout the organization
• analyze business requirements and create high-level specifications necessary for "Solution Design (Blue-Print)"
• discuss with Solution Governance & Delivery on how the business requirements will be supported by the Solution
• provide context information and expert advice to the act! teams and to MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION,
• support the decision process and provide recommendations for process alignment and improvement,
• facilitate changes in the organization, in the way of working, by showing the value of process standardization and continuous improvement
• actively participate in the roll out of SAP in Customer Center globally including conducting necessary training
• Monitor the Service agreements business and ensure best practice is used globally by being the go-to person for how to work with contracts in SAP
• Actively support the Customer Centers with questions related to business management of contracts in SAP, including financial reporting
Experience / Knowledge / Education
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person who is interested in developing a deep understanding of MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION Service Agreements and share this with others in Mining and Rock excavation service division and who is also keen to be part of the MINING AND ROCK EXCAVATION SERVICE DIVISION Service Agreement Team. The person we are looking for has more than 3 years of experience from Parts and Services business and Service Agreements within Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation. The person should have the ability to adapt easily to different cultures and have the ability to complete tasks in line with the agreed best practice and have good skills communicate in the team as well as the global network. We think that strong analytical and reasoning skills with financial understanding are important to fulfill the mission.
A Business Process Expert is
• a person known and respected for expertise and experience in a specific process domain
• a reference person to one or more of the Business Process Councils
• part of a global reference community, a network of peer subject matter experts (other BPXs), that can help to complement requirements and validate solution options
• able to drive change and get things done as a team effort
• able to motivate people and lead by example, proving the case for change
• analytical, result-driven, well structured, self-organized, a great communicator
The candidate should have at least technical bachelor degree, or equivalent competence through work experience.
Good Knowledge of English, verbally and in writing is essential as well as communication skills.
Excellent skills and knowledge of MS Office and other programs used in Atlas Copco.
Experience of SAP or any Service or asset management system and system implementations will be positive.
