About the job
Our client, a company within Finance and Banking, is now looking for a skilled Server administrator with great knowledge in MS SQL.
About the role
This is a role where you get the chance to be analytical and use your problem-solving skills while handling a broad variation of work tasks. You will be responsible for implementing, managing and support the vCenter server and VMWare ESXI servers. You will also do troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, security issues etc. You will also be the one who documents all the incoming reports, incidents and change for service requests. You will be handling hardware such as HP blade servers & HP chassis.
To thrive in the role, it is good if you are motivated by a job where you got to deep-dive into incoming IT issues and be comfortable by independently act as the problem solver.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience on different windows OS Platform (Server 2012, 2016)
* Experience on different Vmware version like (6.0 & 6.5)
* Experience in building virtual infra Optimization process.
* Experience in the development of database infrastructure testing & database infrastructure upgrade/migration
* Handled the execution of migrations of servers using different methods like P2V, V2V, Lift & Shift, Swing Kit etc.
* Experience in managing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS servers, DFS Server, Group policies, Roaming Profiles, File and Print servers and assuring that it is applied for the clients
* Experience with SQL Server 2016, 2014, 2012, 2008 R2 in Installation, configuration, implementation, upgrade and troubleshooting experience on Windows Platform.
* Experience of Major Server roles migration as in File Share Migration, Printer Migration, DHCP Migration
* Be fluent in Swedish
