Grab the opportunity to join Oatly as Sensory Specialist, driving innovation in the field of sensory science. Being part of the Innovation Support team in the EMEA Product Portfolio & Innovation department, you contribute to the EMEA development roadmap. In this role, you will apply in-depth sensory knowledge to design and execute sensory projects and support innovation projects, develop and maintain a high level of sensory support and taste panel capabilities. You will contribute with innovation and expertise within sensory to ensure Oatly continues to have world-class products in this field.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is a key role where you get to be explorative, creative and search for new ways. Your focus will be to support and drive the Innovation agenda and the development by advising on appropriate sensory methodology. You will set up the structure and common ways for sensory methods during development and establish sensory attributes for each category. In close contact with your interfaces, you will guide and choose the proper test setup, execute and deliver the sensory results. This is a role where you will analyze, evaluate on basis of statistical analyses, and conclude test panel results in terms of texture, taste, smell and visual profile. You contribute with sensory science to the projects and apply new and relevant methodology to deliver on innovation goals.

You have a sharp and creative mind, with an analytical and structured way of working. You like to work with others, to plan and lead. An ever-changing environment suits you and you are good at adapting and making the most of every opportunity making sure Oatly continues to be world class in our field.
We hope to see that you check the following boxes:
• Master's degree within Food Science, Food Technology or similar, preferably with an emphasis of Sensory Science
• Experience in conducting analyses with trained/untrained panel
• Deep knowledge of a range of sensory methodologies
• Experience with applied sensory science within food, flavor, or ingredients.
We would love to see that you have Experience with working in a laboratory complex or pilot plant utilizing equipment and scientific instrumentation. If you really want to wow us, you have experience within plant based or cereals.
It is necessary that you are fluent in English and a plus if you have knowledge in the Swedish language.
