On behalf of our customer Mecel, eWork is looking for a Sensing Function Owner for recruitment within Active Safety.

Job description:
Delphi has moved the systems and software development of our Active Safety products for Scandinavian and non-German customers to our site in Sweden (hardware development is in the United States, and manufacturing in Europe). In some cases, we are the lead site launching a product; for others, we are a follow-on to a launch led from one of other global sites

Delphi develops our Active Safety products at several sites: Hardware from the US or at other sites in Europe; Systems and Software lead roles in Sweden. A sensing function owner work includes review customer requirements and defines logical architecture coordination of requirements as well as responsibility for matching the system toward functional requirements and planning verification and root cause analysis of issues.

As a sensing function owner wou will:
• Be responsible for the customer signal interface and be the Day2Day customer interface.
• Work with developing the next generation Radar and Camera based sensor system.
• Issue receiver and analysing problem reports from customer for the detection signal interface and or feature interface.

• Review detection algorithms during development. Ex.
• Review Vehicle detection
• Review Pedestrian detection
• Review lane and barrier detection

• Develop verification methods for radar and vision algorithm.
• Planning and allocation of execution of the function requirement verification.
• Provide analyse and report test results for requirements on functions.
• Support analysis and test reports for function requirement verification.

Competence - required:
• BSc or MSc D/IT/F/E/Z or corresponding education
• Excellent interpersonal skills; mature and stable demeanor
• Good communication skills both in Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

Competence - preferred:
• 3+ years experience as a software, hardware or systems engineer
• Knowledge of the automotive and/or truck business in general and in particular working within safety, body, infotainment, powertrain, and/or chassis systems
• Knowledge or experience in vision, radar, and/or fusion technologies
Good understanding in the development work, preferable in system design in active safety, and agile methods. Good knowledge of quality norms and work according to SPICE.
• Knowledge of communication protocols; e.g. CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, and Ethernet
• Knowledge in AutoSAR
• Additional language skills are a benefit, particularly German or French.

Experience from the following areas are desirable:
• Requirement tools e.g. Doors
• Function owner of Lanes, Objects, TSR, AHBC
• Feature owner of ACC, AEB, TSR, AHBC, LKA, LDW
• Model based development and tools e.g. Matlab/Simulink, UML or dSpace
• Vehicle level sensor verification
• Functional Safety
• Software engineering
