What you'll do?As a Sensing Function Owner, you will drive, plan and follow up on technical development within your specific function. This can for example be Object Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist or Blind Spot Warning. In addition, you will also be the coordinator, networking with both internal and external customers. Through close collaboration with customers, project managers, system engineers, software engineers, data collectors and vehicle integrator, you are actively working to optimize and solve problems that may arise within the function
The role requires a specialist responsibility where you are expected to be able to support the technology behind it. You will also be required to visit the different customers Veoneer are collaborating with
For example, you will:
• Be a specialist and responsible for pursuing and developing your function
• Responsible for customer contact within your specific area
• Periodically lead smaller teams
What you'll bring:We believe that you're a person who is seeking new and exciting challenges within Systems and Software Development You have already specialized yourself within a specific function, but you are now looking for new thrilling challenges that you can sink your teeth into. We presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and developing, where you can put your problem-solving skills to good use. You already have a working experience in system development or embedded systems in cooperation with customers. If you have previous experience within the automotive industry that's just an extra bonus
You are convincing and result oriented and have the ability to build good and constructive relations within the team and with the customers. You're used to work independently, driving your own work forward and taking initiative. You can stand your ground but at the same time you are responsive and strive to maintain a good relationship. Since you are used to working in international environments you are also no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited
Level (diploma) required:
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Electronics, Software orequivalent
