The company is expanding and we are now looking for a
Supply Chain Manager
to assume responsibility for sourcing and managing our worldwide shipping supply portfolio.
Your assignment
We are looking for a person that can help us to develop our sourcing and supply department and create a very strong foundation in regards to strategic purchasing. You will drive a significant change process within the sourcing and supply area and therefore we are looking for a person with significant experience from strategic purchasing and change management projects with a very high interest and knowledge about sourcing and supply in general. You report to the Operations Manager and will manage a team of about 3-4 employees.
General activities in your role:
• Drive and implement large sourcing projects* Take actions to reduce cost for better efficiencies* Re-negotiate, renew and discontinue supplier contracts* Provide input to plans, strategies and target setting for the sourcing and supply area.* Coordinate work efforts within your team* Ensure priorities are handled efficiently and ensuring effective project management within your area* Influence suppliers manufacturing processes, technology decisions etc that is sustainable for SenseAir* Evaluate supplier core competencies and continuously manage risk* Implement supplier agreementsYour profile:
• Demonstrated commodity management expertise* Proven negotiation and contract management skills* Analytical, data driven approach with attention to details* Excellent communication skills* Excellent understanding of quality systems and processes (TS16949 experience is a bonus)* Experience from the EMS, plastics, tools businesses* Experience from machine investments* NPI experienceRequirements for Applicant:
• Five + years of experience in a senior Sourcing and Supply position* Good interpersonal, communication, leadership and presentation skills.* Positive person who enjoys challenges, teaching, and developing an organization.* Excellent Swedish and English skills in oral and written form is mandatory.
