We are looking for the next awesome co-worker in the Windows Server and SQL Server team at the Scania IT Infrastructure department. Your role as Senior Windows Server Technical Specialist
Overall technical responsibility for all our Windows Server environments at the infrastructural and database administrator level. You will secure the strategy, development, and implementation of technical roadmaps, deployment process, and quality of delivery. This will be done in a dynamic, challenging international environment with opportunities for development, new technologies, and new ways of working.
You will have a full overview of our Windows Server infrastructure, propose developments and improvements on our existing services, consider licenses, infrastructure consumption, and capacity management and optimize the products. You will document designs and setups, to facilitate knowledge sharing and understanding.
Who are we looking for?
• You have relevant academic education and/or equivalent work experience in the area of work.
• In-depth knowledge of management of large Windows Server environments, tools, and products.
• You are comfortable taking initiative and ownership to move our services forward.
• You are curious, responsible, and can take ownership to move our services forward.
• Experience in Agile working methods is merit.
• Fluency in English both oral and written is a must.

The group Windows, Web & DB platform Development owns and maintains the Managed Services and Platforms used by delivery teams throughout the organisation in provisioning of solutions to the Scania business functions. The team office base is in Södertälje but we work mostly "from where we are awesome". That is in the boundaries of good sustainable work environment. We care for each other and are helpful and nice every day. We try to "see" each other almost every day even if we are sitting in a home office.
