This is a unique opportunity to drive improvement and build a scalable warehouse operation, with great possibilities to make your own mark on the role. We are looking for a confident role model who thrives in a continuously developing and fast-paced logistics organization.
The warehouse is divided in three departments - Inbound, Outbound and E-commerce/Returns - and provides our stores, retailers and online customers all around the world with our products. This position reports to the Supply-Chain Director.
Your main responsibility will be management of the entire operations as well as to ensure a clear logistics strategy that supports the company's growth. You will be overall responsible for all staff and the work environment, and to ensure that results are delivered in line with business goals, KPI targets and yearly budget.
Your job will include:
• Securing a world-class logistics service to customers and suppliers, in cooperation with internal sales channel teams
• Managing a large workforce and driving high team performance through inspirational leadership and engagement
• Analyzing statistics and following up on annual/quarterly KPIs on a strategical level
• Securing daily reporting, follow up and actions for the organization on an operational level
• Identifying and assessing available technologies that will improve productivity
• Coordinating all major procurement processes regarding the warehouse, as well as nurturing relationships with suppliers
We are looking for someone with:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or similar
• At least five years' leadership experience in a labor-intensive environment
• At least three years' experience of warehouse operations
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Ability to lead by example and inspire and motivate others
• Outstanding problem-solving skills as well as numerical/analytical ability
• Strong business sense with an ability to connect financial and operational parameters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent Swedish and English skills, additional language skills are meriting
