About the position
The Product Planning User Experience team is part of the Product Planning & Product Management organization within UIQ Technology. We are looking for a creative, innovative person who enjoy presenting
new ideas, who is comfortable in decision making and enjoys working in a rapidly changing market and environment.
Responsibilities
• Capturing, identifying, defining and visualizing User Experience features for the UIQ product.
• Competitor analysis.
• Manage and drive cooperation with customers in the area of User Experience and concept design in order to understand their as well as end user needs and based on that drive and propose
solutions.
• Add User Experience value to the roadmap by populating it with strategic and prioritized User Experience concept.
• Deliver prioritized User Experience features to the Development organization for further detailed requirement handling.
• Producing visualizations for presentations to customers.
Education:
A University degree in Interaction design, HCI, MMI, GUI design, Industrial design, Computer Science or similar relevant experience.
Knowledge:
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Excellent skills in interaction design/GUI design and usability.
• Extensive understanding of design documentation production.
• Extensive knowledge in tools commonly used for design and visualizations (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Flash).
• Experience of working with interaction/GUI design for small screen devices.
• UIQ product knowledge is highly desirable.
• A combination of good customer relation skills and a solid technical understanding.
• Ability to understand and distill customer needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior management as well as technology experts.
• Positive, well-organized, outgoing and self motivated.
Previous experience of working in an international and dynamic environment with extensive interaction with other companies is an advantage.
