We are actively looking for passionate people to join our platform and engine team in Stockholm. You will be working with skilled colleagues and be part of an exciting project, where we are creating a gaming engine and platform for virtual worlds of the future.
You will need to bridge the gap between design, business, advanced technology and help create an experience that brings users and developers together.
You will be part of a small team and need to be comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment, where you take your own initiatives and aid the team in development. Each team member has an important influence on the project and is involved in the decision-making process.
You should have a positive attitude, be dedicated, team-spirited and love a challenge.
What will you do at Mutate?
As a senior UI and UX designer you will be responsible for guiding our team in understanding and developing an experience for regular end users and developers alike. You will lead design research, ideation and creation of interfaces spanning multiple devices/platforms.
You will have to take lead in and facilitate design discussions with users, developers and project stakeholders. You will play a key role in leading an innovative project and ensure the best experience of our platform and brand as possible.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in leading UI and UX design.
• Strong understanding of user experience and interactions on multiple platforms.
• Able to work independently as well as help the organization in improving workflows and processes.
• Able to show games and/or project you have worked on and your responsibilities.
• Excellent understanding of creating user-centered experiences.
• Great communication and presentational skills.
Good To Have
• Experience designing systems and tools used in UGC (user generated content).
• Expertise in web/client development.
