An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented senior Trademark lawyer to join our Trademark team within Tetra Pak Legal Affairs. Tetra Pak's Legal Affairs IPR function is headed up by the Vice President Legal Affairs IPR and consists of 20 world class IP Professionals of all disciplines. The function advises Tetra Pak Group in matters relating to intellectual property rights as well Tetra Laval Group on trademarks and Domain names
What you will do
• Prosecute trademark applications and support building a strong trademark and domain name portfolio
• Providing legal advice and strategic support on trademark and domain name related matters to our global stakeholders
• Developing and supporting the continuous improvement of related policies, processes, template agreements, notices, checklists and other tools
• Driving activities and training to increase trademark awareness to colleagues, customers and others
• Driving activities to prevent external and internal incorrect trademark use and infringements
• Drafting and negotiating trademark dispute settlement agreements
• Handle domain name matters: advise on registration, 3rd party requests and dispute resolution
The position will be based in Lund, Sweden and will report to the Director Trademark, Tetra Pak and Subject matter Expert Trademarks Tetra Laval.
Who you are
You are an attorney at law with a minimum of 8 years' experience working for a leading law/IP firm and/or in-house in a multinational business of comparable size.
Extensive experience in strategic trademark prosecution and enforcement, litigation experience and a sound knowledge of marketing and competition law are prerequisites.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
You are a driven, resourceful and quick self-starter. You are a strategic thinker who can apply your intellect and creativity in providing sound risk assessments and innovative legal solutions. You are practical, persuasive and a team-player with the ability to collaborate at all levels and across divisions, geographies and cultures.
