hela Sverige We are looking for a Senior Thermal Design Engineer for Huawei 's Engineering Lab at the Stockholm office to take on the challenge of designing our cutting-edge solutions for thermal management challenges in electronic systems.
As a Senior Thermal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for
• Conducting in-depth thermal analyses and simulations of various telecom equipment to optimize their electronic system thermal performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative thermal solutions.
• Analyzing and interpreting simulation results to provide actionable recommendations.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in thermal management.
The work will be done closely with our system design teams in Stockholm, Kista and our head office in China.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
• Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 3+ years of experience in CFD simulations, particularly in thermal analysis of electronic systems.
• Proficiency in using CFD software tools such as StarCCM+.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective team collaboration.
Additional advantage if you have the following experience:
Working with other thermal analysis software such as Simcenter Flotherm and/or OpenFOAM;
Working in an international and multicultural environment.
