The team develops and maintains the Vergic AB core business systems, which includes backend integration systems and frontend applications as well as internal applications. The applications are hugely scalable, and exposed to major players worldwide and locally.
Your responsibilities will include architecting our test infrastructure and the overall system testing of our core product, ps plugin.
The ideal candidate has experience from building test infrastructures and tools, working with development teams to drive test requirements, developing test automation for large projects as well as keeping accurate documentation of all activities.

Responsibilities:
• Creating, maintaining and executing automated and manual test suites to verify SW releases
• Conduct exploratory system testing
• Reproduce offsite and onsite defects
• Work closely with development to establish engineering testing requirements
• Prepare and review test documentation to ensure full test coverage of each product component, including test plans, test cases and test reports
• Execute test cases and evaluate results
• Prepare test reports and log defects
• Provide support to development team members on testing-related issues
• Provide status to management on assignments, planned activities, issues and dependencies
You are expected to mentor junior staff in processes and product functionality, while keeping management and supervisors aware of current product stability and critical issues as they arise. You will filter issues from inside and outside the team to assess their criticality before presenting them as project risks o new tasks.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Test Manager 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010.
• 5+ years of related SW or product test experience as a tester
• Experience of functional testing, load testing and cross browser compatibility
• Strong data analysis skills founded in an analytical sense
• An excellent knowledge of the development lifecycle, bug resolution processes, testing in a web environment, and integration testing
• Experience of automated SW testing
• Excellent writing skills to communicate information effectively and you master English fluently, both verbally and in writing
• Prior product development and in depth hands-on, working knowledge of .NET C# and JavaScript is a plus
