There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the Vehicle dynamics, ADAS and Automation team within Complete Vehicle, as Senior Test Engineer Ride comfort within Complete Vehicle.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you are responsible for planning, executing, reporting feature and function tests within the Ride comfort area.
Your main task is to understand test requirements from feature perspective and related risks, and then accordingly plan, prepare, and execute the tests. With your engineering judgement, you analyze test results and write engineering reports.
Testing is the heart of Complete Vehicle, and it is a strategic area where extensive development and substantial challenges will happen in the coming 5 years.

YOUR NEW ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and proactive person who has a can-do attitude.
As a Senior Test Engineer for Ride comfort, you will
Plan and execute complete vehicle tests in Road simulator rig, on test tracks and on open roads in cooperation with feature validation engineer and workshop mechanics.
Work closely with engineering departments in different technology streams and vehicle streams.
Activities includes:
Test method creation/updates
Securing necessary tools, instruments, test tracks etc.
Test planning and execution
Identifying risks related to testing, and planning mitigations
Analyzing test results, reporting issues, and providing recommendations
Writing Engineering reports
Proposing and implementing improvement ideas
Documenting knowledge and lessons learnt

PREFERRED SKILLS
M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience
You have at least 3 years of working experience within vehicle dynamics testing from the automotive industry, preferably within development or verification
Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle instrumentation, test setup (vehicle preparation, etc.), test data collection (test track, public road), test data management (file format, storing/uploading and reuse), frequency analysis and interpretation of results, and writing reports
Good understanding of vehicle dynamics functions
Knowledge about usage of instruments like data loggers and visualization/analysis tools
Knowledge about agile way of working
Good to have: C/CE License
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
