The TestCenter within Shared Services supports more than 300 different IT services and projects at IKEA with test competence, test services and tools. The Test Management Service within TestCenter offers test professionals such as Test architects, Test Managers and testers to business solutions and projects within the organisation.
In this role you are an important representative for TestCenter, meeting our consumers every day.
About the Assignment
As Test Architect, you will provide strategic and operational support to the IKEA organization. Change management is part of your daily work and you might find yourself acting as the right hand of line management organizations as well as taking on more senior operational assignments s.a., test program management or test service development. The journey towards a strong, state of the art IKEA test organization has just begun and you will lead the way by continuously strive for improvements and lead by example. Key focus areas are:
• Secure implementation: Organizational development and management support: will require strong leadership skills, expertise in Test methodologies and strategy, knowledge about organizational design and development, Expert in stakeholder management
• Secure quality: Theoretical model and process design, creation of the conceptual model, aligned with the IKEA Test process, development model as well as organizational structure and governance
You will be part of a team that is distributed in Älmhult, Helsingborg, Malmö, Dortmund and Diedenbergen. Ability to travel from time to time is a plus but the primary location will be Helsingborg.

We also want you to be able to drive test efficiency through innovation and implementation of test services and test enablers, such as performance test, test automation, service virtualization, test data management etc. Since we are a team currently in an expansive growth, it is very important that you are pro-active, driven and take responsibility in the organisation development together with us, meeting the needs of IKEA people, today and tomorrow.
