hela Sverige The project involves building a data warehouse which will serve as a common data repository for business data, and fulfilling the analytical and reporting needs of Treasury over time. This data warehousing solution will replace many existing data repositories (or data marts) and reporting solutions.
As a Senior Teradata Developer, you will work closely with your team members on this project, our business partners and with our extended offshore team members in India.
Your responsibilities include:
• Involvement in all phases of the IT development life cycle.
• Creating high quality documentation.
• Ensuring the deliverables are of high quality, by following processes and delivering on schedule.
• Ensuring the stability of the application in production.
• Keeping a continuous dialogue with our business partners and other stakeholders through the development life cycle.
In the role, you keep yourself updated on the latest trends in data warehousing and banking and improving your technical skills in Teradata. You will proactively suggest ways to improve the development process based on your past experience.
The position is based in Stockholm.
We are looking for a candidate with good cognitive and analytical skills, who can work with complex issues on an abstract level. You are able to adopt a long term perspective and combine that with insightful action, with the ability to make things happen.
You are an excellent communicator, able to both facilitate dialogue and drive decisions when necessary. We believe that you are very organized and work productively in an agile environment, where focus on delivering according to deadlines is essential.
Furthermore, you have:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Engineering.
• Experience working on Banking Data warehousing projects as a Senior IT developer.
• Minimum 6 years' experience working on Teradata in an agile environment.
• Written and spoken English skills at a professional level.
• A work permit in any of the Nordic countries.
Background in banking is desirable, and if you have experience of an ETL tool like Datastage, it will be considered as an added advantage.
Finally, you have a high degree of relevant business understanding and particularly in analysis of "real world" business problems.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Teradata Developer with expertise in Banking and Data warehousing for the Group Treasury IT Solutions.
You will be offered the opportunity to contribute with your skills in one of the key development projects of strategic importance to Nordea.
