Location:
The position can be based in UK, Denmark, Sweden or Germany but will require frequent travelling to countries with Data Centre Global Strategic Accounts projects
Your Mission:
The Tender Manager will play a pivotal role ensuring Data Center Global Strategic Accounts have a consistent and first-rate quotation experience globally. The Tender Manager will work with multiple countries in a zone to ensure the country tender teams deliver on-time, accurate, profitable proposals in a global consistent format developed jointly with the customer.
Your responsibilities:
1. The single point of contact for the SAE & Customer for all issues to do with quotes regardless of LoB or Country
2. Leading and compiling the large project bids for the customer across the geographical area.
3. Co-ordinating the bid process to ensure that the countries meets the technical, commercial, operational and legal requirements
4. Aim is to ensure consistent technical offer, look and feel of quotes, alignment on approach to costs / price.
5. Work with the GSA DC customer to improved bid templates and standardization.
6. Build up database of quotes, reduce approval times through familiarization, develop long term pricing frameworks etc.
7. Will work within the country teams to ensure quotation approvals are processed in an efficient manner and delivered on-time.
8. Will assist in negotiating long term acceptable T&Cs with perspective and existing customers.
9. Assisting in the review, vetting and negotiation of all tender documentation and T&Cs. Assist the SAE and other commercial personnel in the review and handling of customer T&Cs and tender documents.
10. Act as a mentor and leader ensuring seamless and efficient quotation generation and follow up in the geographies.
11. Will assist in the management and continuous improvement of all quotation tools and templates. This includes the building of quotation templates, professional and effective quotation documents and more efficient quotation tools.
12. Will strive for continuous improvement of all tools, systems and practices to ensure efficient turnaround of quotes.
13. Will work with Operations, Solution Architects, and SAEs and other internal departments to ensure seamless and effective execution of role.
14. Ensure the commercial teams across the countries are following one set of procedures for the DC GSAs to enable seamless and unified offer and pricing
15. Improve quotation documentation to ensure we are delivering detailed documents that will inform, entice, and educate our customers, setting our document above the competition

About you:
• Experience in tendering large projects
• Must have commercial experience in the review and management of T&Cs and commercial documents.
• Formal training in legal terms and tender language
• Risk assessment, mitigation and management experience
• Project Management experience
• Must have terrific organizational and time management skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• bFO and CPP process experience preferred
