hela Sverige Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Technical writer to the security company Specops. Specops is a successful and award-winning software company and due to their success they now need to strengthen their team with a skillful Technical writer.
About the position
As the technical writer at Specops it is you whom makes sure that the technical documentation is in order. You'll be responsible for the documentation towards external stakeholders and customers as well as the internal documentation. Specops have development offices both here in Stockholm and in Toronto, and although you will be located here in Stockholm you will work closely with the development teams in Toronto as well. You will create a wide array of documentation such as administration guides, online help, operational guidelines and other materials.
What Specops is looking for
In the role as senior technical writer you will probably have accumulated a significant experience, probably closer to at least 8 years. You are well versed in the art of writing technical documents specifically for the software industry. As Specops customers are spread throughout the world and since you colleagues are based both in Stockholm and Toronto, you need to be able to communicate efficient in English, both written and spoke. A lot of your colleagues here in Stockholm will also speak Swedish, but it's ok if you don't. When it comes to education you might very well have one, perhaps in writing or some form of technical degree, but it's not necessary. What you do need is a keen eye for the written word and an ability to convey rather complex text to an audience of readers with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
