We are looking to expand our project management office with a senior technical project manager who get things done on a global scale.
As a technical project manager at Sigma Connectivity, you get the opportunity to develop and grow in your role. You will be part of the project management team managing one or more global hardware and software development projects with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
As a project manager at Sigma Connectivity, you will:
Lead, improve and develop projects and thereby create value for our customers.
Manage technical product development projects in terms of time, quality and cost.
Collaborate and communicate with many people and make valuable contacts.
Run projects in a professional way and spread positive energy in the teams.
Basic qualifications
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, strong leadership skills and the ability to work directly with customers and manage the commercial relationship. Excellent communication skills are necessary, as clear stakeholder communication and scope management are key to the successful delivery of our projects.
We are looking for a project manager with documented experience as a technical project manager. Projects could be large or small and include hardware and/or software development. Your team could be anywhere from 3 to 45 engineers.
We are looking for a project manager with:
Excellent understanding of complex technology and business solutions in a client-facing environment.
Drive, deliver and proactively report results according to agreed project scope, cost, quality and time line milestones to all project stakeholders
Good understanding of the steps involved to bring a product from concept through to production.
Understand the proper application of risk management techniques to ensure business priorities and quality standards are met.
Extended HW and/or SW development experience.
Client relationship experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
The ability to self-motivate and take responsibility.
An interest in broadening your skillset over time.
Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience
It is an advantage if you have:
Project Management certification.
Experience with product industrialization.
Experience with Agile project management
