We are offering you a challenging opportunity in a fast-growing company where you can develop both personally as well as professionally. You will be working as a Senior Technical Engineer in an international environment at our office in Växjö.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible for the various infrastructures environments Firewalls, Operating systems and platforms (Azure and AWS)
• Cloud Security - Build a secure cloud environment and help drive the adoption of secure configurations and deployment practices in Azure and AWS
• Gather and evaluate the business needs and produce various designs to achieve these goals
• Breaking down the goals into action points and milestones including follow-up.
• Setting up and maintaining performance system monitoring
• Documenting, knowledge transfer and information sharing, both within the squad and with other relevant departments
• Contribute with infrastructure (network, hardware, os, database administration, security etc) competency
• Consult with colleagues throughout Information Technology - Ensure that new applications and infrastructure are secure from the project initiation phase
• Perform repairs, maintenance and upgrades of existing systems using solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures. Investigates and resolves matters of significance
• Perform technical assessments of product releases to ensure secure software baselines
• Conduct complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinate the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
• Provide technical consultation on current and proposed systems to other teams in the organization
• Managing third parties services such as SSL certificates, Firewall licences etc.
• Analyse and resolve infrastructure deficiencies and conduct testing to enhance performance
• Provide systems expertise and drive operational best practices
• Ensure cost-effective and efficient operations and measures feasibility of various approaches and make recommendation
• Creating and/or improving infrastructure environments
Required experience and skills
• Education: Computer science/engineering
• 5+ years working experience.
• Experience in providing security services for Cloud environments (including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)).
• Experience with Security technologies (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Azure, Office 365 and AWS).
• Hands-on Experience with Networking, TCP/IP.
• Next Generation Firewalls Installation, Maintenance and Configuration
• Design and Implementation with high availability.
• SSL certificate management.
• Experience of performing proactive analysis of infrastructure capacity and performance.
• Experience of performing system backup and recovery.
• Experience from updates and creating new monitoring policies on threat and vulnerability event capture. Updates inventory of assets to help capture normal behaviour/activities within the company.
• Works to ensure security systems/appliances are functional and improved upon for pro-active cyber defence.
• Develop process automation.
• Understanding of complex information and requirements.
• An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under own initiative.
• Always ready to help attitude.
Desirable experience and skills
• Expertise in data centre management and data governance will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
