We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant who would like to expand from a technical role to a client facing role while being exposed to a wide variety of cutting-edge research projects across multiple industries. This person would be excited about helping multi-national corporates through to mid-market and fast-growing start-ups to invest in research and development as well as sustainability initiatives. The opportunity
This opportunity is ideal for a person with four to six years of working experience who wishes to expand from a technical role to a broad and dynamic role, from engaging in client conversations to liaising with government agencies.
You will work closely with our clients, mostly senior technical, scientific and engineering staff, across all sectors. By understanding our clients' projects, business models and footprint, you will work closely with funding bodies to help our clients further fund their innovation roadmap and sustainability agenda.
You will be supporting companies in identifying and obtaining Innovation Incentives as well as encouraging them to invest in research and development and sustainability initiatives. In this role you can really make an impact and contribute to our purpose of Building a Better Working World.
You will be part of a Nordic team and collaborate with our global network, meaning that the role also includes travel within and outside the Nordics from time to time. At the same time, you will be part of an enthusiastic and multinational team based in Stockholm and Copenhagen.


Your key responsibilities
Interacting with clients' senior technical, scientific and engineering staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of the innovative projects undertaken while building and maintaining relationships
Writing compelling technical project reports describing the scientific and technical activities of client projects to support their R&D claim
Assisting with the sales process through identifying potential targets, arranging internal and external meetings and articulating the benefit of Innovation Incentives through client meetings and proposals
Delivery of high-quality advice and solutions to all types of clients, ensuring management of risk and reputation

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
a university degree in Computer Science or related field
between 4 and 6 years of experience in industry, academia or a research organisation
strong working proficiency in English - written, spoken and conversational
permission to work in Sweden and travel to European countries


Ideally, you'll also have
experience in dealing with challenges faced by industry professionals, such as software development life cycle (Agile and Scrum), code reviews, testing and operations etc.
experience as a back-end or full-stack developer so that you can understand our client's operations
a basic grasp of the Swedish language (or Norwegian / Danish)
work experience in your chosen industry within a technical role
