Tasks
In this exciting Senior Technical Consultant role, you will get the opportunity to take part in and deliver major, often challenging assignments together with consultants and experts from other parts of Power Consulting. In addition, you will lead own projects including delivery and customer relationship development.
You will work as a leading functional practitioner in a consulting area, approve assignment tasks carried out by others and take a lead role to propose consulting services to meet the customer's needs. You will also lead or support the development of a special technology or area of best practice.
Another important task is to make contacts at senior level (e.g. Technical Director), consult business and proposes engineering solutions to meet customer needs.Furthermore, you will provide technical support and guidance to sales team for offer preparation and negotiate contracts to win consulting assignments. A successful candidate will contribute to achieve agreed business financial targets for a technology, business area or consulting team.
Other responsibilities include creating work plans and cost estimates and ensuring quality timely implementation within targeted cost. You support in the development of new tools and rocesses for engineering effectiveness. Also, you coach and develop consultants to deliver assignments.

Requirements
The successful candidate has Master's or PhD degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems or similar. We also see that you have a minimum of six years' experience in the design, understanding and performance of power systems. You have strong knowledge in power systems analysis, as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Matlab, RSCAD/RTDS, and/or DigSilent Power Factory in combination with PL competence.
You must have proven experience in creating opportunities and order capture in the Nordic market, as well as achievement of Order growth in a service business and effective building and maintaining of customer relations. Since you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, in addition to Swedish, we expect you to be fluent in
English as well, written and spoken alike.
On a personal level, you are analytical, independent, self-going, and take your own initiatives to solve problems. You have excellent influencing, collaborating and communication skills. Adding your ability to understand customer needs and sell the value of consulting to the customer, you have what it takes to succeed in this position.
