As a Senior Technical Consultant at Power Consulting you'll be part of a renowned global team of power system and energy consultants, in which you will have the opportunities to contribute to the creation of consulting business strategies as well as the development of consultancy products and services to the main electricity sector agents (such as: distribution and transmission companies and network owners, retailers, generators, industrial consumers, etc.).

Your responsibilities
In this exciting new consultant role, you will get the opportunity to take part in and deliver major and challenging assignments, together with our consultants and team experts from local as well as international Power Consulting offices. The projects are typically within the area of power system analysis including power system modelling and simulation, protection coordination, power quality analysis, etc.
You will work as a leading functional practitioner in the consulting area, approve assignment tasks carried out by others and take a lead role to propose consulting services to meet the customer's needs.
You will create work plans and cost estimates and ensure quality and on time delivery within targeted cost.
You will support the development of new tools and processes for engineering effectiveness.
Also, you coach and develop consultants to deliver assignments.
Another important task is to make contacts at senior level (e.g. Technical Director), consult business and proposes engineering solutions to meet customer needs.
Furthermore, you will provide technical support and guidance to sales team for offer preparation and negotiate contracts to win consulting assignments.

Your background
As a successful candidate:
You have a PhD or Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems or similar.
You have a minimum of six years' experience in the consulting and energy branch.
You have strong knowledge in power systems analysis, as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD and/or DIgSILENT Power Factory. Programming skill in Python, C++, etc is a merit.
You have proven experience in creating opportunities and order capture in the Nordic market, as well as achievement of Order growth in a service business and effective building and maintaining of customer relations.
You have an analytical mindset and you are independent, self-going, and take initiatives to solve problems.
You have a proven experience in creating opportunities in the markets (orders capture).
You have excellent influencing, collaborating and communication skills. It is necessary to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken alike.
